Телекомпания НТВ пытается отсудить у Студии прямых продаж члена российской госудумы от ЛДПР Валерия Селезнева право на использование товарного знака Говорит и показывает, сообщает КоммерсантЪ. Валерий Селезнев отметил, что "считает провокационным обращение НТВ в суд без попытки договориться с его доверительным управляющим". По его словам, он не намерен уступать права на этот слоган и намерен использовать его "для продвижения брендов ЛДПР в политических кампаниях". Права на товарный знак у депутата истекут 31 октября 2013 года (знак был зарегистрирован в 2006), но если суд отклонит иск НТВ, в течение шести месяцев срок действия регистрации может быть продлен. Требования компании будут удовлетворены, если если владелец товарного знака не докажет в суде, что он использовал его в последние три года, считают опрошенные изданием эксперты. В НТВ не стали комментировать иск "до вынесения судом решения", однако заинтересованность компании очевидна, поскольку с 2011 года компания выпускает в эфир собственное ежедневное ток-шоу "Говорим и показываем". Компания Селезнева претензии к НТВ по этому поводу не предъявляла. Ъ отмечает, что аналогичные или похожие фразы в своей деятельности использовал целый ряд российских СМИ. Родоначальником фразы Говорит и показывает было Гостелерадио СССР, передававшее важные новости с позывными Говорит и показывает Москва. Также издавалась газета с программой передач под тем же названием. Напомним, что Арбитражный суд Москвы удовлетворил иск известного барда Александра Розенбаума, досрочно прекратив правовую охрану в России товарного знака Вальс-Бостон, под которым выпускалась водка.
