Верховной Раде предлагают назначить внеочередные выборы киевского городского главы и депутатов Киевского городского совета на 10 ноября этого года.

Соответствующий проект постановления зарегистрировали народные депутаты от "Батькивщины" Александр Черноволенко и Юрий Одарченко 27 августа.

Документ передан на рассмотрение руководству комитета по вопросам государственного строительства и местного самоуправления.

Как известно, оппозиция придерживается позиции, что Киевсовет нынешнего созыва нелегитимен со 2 июня, поэтому выборы должны пройти в этом году. Провластные силы же выступали за выборы в столице в 2015 году.

Окружной административный суд Киева 9 августа признал деятельность Киевского городского совета правомочной, а созыв и проведение его сессий – законным. Поэтому в большинстве настаивают, что до проведения выборов 25 октября 2015 года полномочия депутатов Киевсовета действительны.
