Курултай крымскотатарского народа избрал лидером Меджлиса Рефата Чубарова.

На должность претендовали два кандидата: 56-летний Чубаров (первый заместитель председателя Меджлиса, президент Всемирного конгресса крымских татар, депутат Верховной Рады Крыма из фракции Курултай-Рух) и 55-летний Ремзи Ильясов (заместитель председателя Меджлиса, депутат Верховной Рады Крыма из фракции Курултай-Рух).

Делегаты Курултая ранее настаивали, чтобы Джемилев остался на посту, но он взял самоотвод. В итоге Чубарова поддержали 126 делегатов съезда, а Ильясова - 114. Еще два бюллетеня признаны недействительными, - сообщает УНИАН.

Ранее сообщалось, что крымские татары выбирают нового главу Меджлиса. Председатель Меджлиса Мустафа Джемилев подтвердил делегатам, открывшейся сессии Курултая крымскотатарского народа, свое желание оставить занимаемый пост.

Вчера 26 октября в Симферополе начала свою работу первая сессия Курултая крымскотатарского народа VI созыва. Джемилев напомнил, что на сессии тайным голосованием будут избраны новый состав Меджлиса крымскотатарского народа, новый председатель Меджлиса и новый состав Ревизионной комиссии Курултая.
