Народний депутат від партії "УДАР", колишній міський голова Одеси Едуард Гурвіц заявив, що балотуватиметься на посаду мера Одеси як самовисуванець, повідомляє прес-служба політика.

"Мер Одеси має керуватися інтересами не окремих партій, а всього міста, всієї громади. Вибори міського голови не повинні перетворюватися на змагання політичних гасел і платформ", - заявив Е.Гурвіц на конференції одеської організації "УДАРу" у вівторок, повідомляє Інтерфакс-Україна.

Політик звернувся до партії із закликом спрямувати всі зусилля на забезпечення чесних виборів в Одесі.

"Звертаюся до всіх активістів. Сьогодні завдання номер один - проведення чесних виборів в Одесі. У місті необхідно навести лад, відновити все те, що було зруйновано, а для цього потрібна легітимна міська влада", - сказав він.

Конференція проголосувала за те, щоб підтримати самовисуванця Е.Гурвіца на майбутніх виборах міського голови.
