Юрій Гримчак зняв свою кандидатуру з виборів народних депутатів в 223окрузі та закликав підтримати кандидатуру від об'єднаної опозиції - Юрія Левченка.
Про він заявив в коментарі "5 каналу".

Хоча раніше, в інтерв'ю PRпорталу заявляв, що Юрій Левченко "здав" округ під час виборів 2012 року.

Як відомо, Гримчак хотів балотуватися по 223 округу, де опозиція висунула єдиним кандидатом свободівця Юрія Левченка.

Екс-міністр внутрішніх справ Юрій Луценко заявляв, що не схвалює такого рішення Гримчака.

Раніше повідомлялося, що Гримчак зніме свою кандидатуру, якщо, за даними соціологічних опитувань станом на 30 листопада він не стане "найпопулярнішим опозиційним кандидатом в окрузі". Схоже, не став, попри потужну рекламну кампанію і розповсюдження листа ніби-то від Юлії Тимошенко.
