В 2015 году, судя по реакции общества на тему "торговой войны", Банковая вполне может использовать тему внешней, а именно - российской угрозы. Об этом, на своей странице в фейсбук написал журналист Сергей Высоцкий

Потому что Кремль в Украине, похоже, не любят все же сильнее, чем Януковича.

Аргумент о том, что такая повестка демобилизует восточно-украинский электорат не выдерживает критики.

Во-первых, этот электорат уже демобилизован.

Во-вторых, пока не очевидно, будет ли он вместо Януковича голосовать за оппозиционера.

В-третьих, в ядерных регионах Партии регионов выборы носят управляемый характер, и их результат не обязательно зависит от настроения избирателей.

С другой стороны, розыгрыш российской угрозы, в сумме с подписанием соглашения об ассоциации с ЕС, подорвет аргументацию оппозиции. Она более не сможет эксплуатировать простую тему восточно-западного политического раскола, ставя себя на место евроинтеграторов, а Януковича - на место интегратора в евразийское болото.
