Активістки Femen залишили Україну в п'ятницю після того, як були викликані на допит.

Як повідомляє прес-служба руху, 30 серпня активістки Femen Яна Жданова, Анна Гуцол та Олександра Шевченко були викликані слідчим на допит, "що означало, що активістки будуть переведені зі статусу "підозрюваних" у статус "обвинувачених" .

"Побоюючись за своє життя і свободу, активістки здійснили втечу з України до Європи з метою продовжувати Femen діяльність", - йдеться в повідомленні.

Там підкреслюється, що "навіть подібні репресії не зупинять активну діяльність руху в Україні, Росії та інших диктаторських державах".

Прес-служба заявляє, що починаючи з липня 2013 року українські члени міжнародного руху Femen систематично піддавалися переслідуванням, жорстоким побиттям, викраденням і неодноразово отримували на свою адресу погрози.

"Остання провокація проти руху Femen була підготовлена ​​і реалізована українськими правоохоронними органами, в результаті якої в київський офіс руху було підкинуто вогнепальну зброю, вибухівку і фото портрети Путіна і патріарха Кирила", - йдеться в повідомленні.

Як наслідок, було відкрито кримінальну справу проти активісток Femen за статтею 263 про незаконне зберігання зброї, що загрожує активісткам позбавленням волі до 5 років.

В знак протесту, під посольствами країн ЄС,  вони провели акцію "Моє тіло - моя зброя".
