Россия занимается тайным финансированием кампании против фрекинга в Европе, заявил генсек НАТО Андерс Фог Расмуссен.Об этом сообщает «Газета.Ru» со ссылкой на The Guardian.

По словам Расмуссена, Москва тесно сотрудничает с «так называемыми некоммерческими организациями» – экологическими объединениями, которые выступают против фрекинга (метода добычи сланцевого газа). Как полагает генсек НАТО, таким образом Кремль пытается сохранить зависимость Европы от импортируемого российского газа.

Это заявление Расмуссен сделал во время выступления в Королевском институте международных отношений в Лондоне. Подробности генсек НАТО не привел, отметив лишь, что речь идет о его интерпретации полученной информации.
