Американські зоопарки цього року, здається, змагаються – хто винайде більше способів залучити тарганів до Дня усіх закоханих. Ви можете оформити опіку над мадагаскарським шиплячим тарганом, назвати його ім’ям свого партнера чи партнерки, сходити до таргана на віртуальне побачення та навіть романтично згодувати його іншій тварині.

Так, зоопарк у Бронксі пропонує романтикам за благодійний внесок завести таргана і назвати його на честь свого “Валентина” чи “Валентинки”, а також сувенірну продукцію – опудало таргана та шкарпетки із зображенням таргана. Також можуть влаштувати віртуальне побачення за участі таргана.

Назвати трагана на честь коханого чи коханої можна лише за донат у $15. Для цього доступні 10 тис. тарганів. 

“Ви не завжди можете знайти для коханих правильні слова, але ви можете довести їх до мурашок по шкірі. Назвіть таргана на честь свого коханого. Тому що таргани – це вічне”, – закликають у Бронксі.

Сан-Антоніо пропонує інших підхід – назвати таргана, гризуна чи овоч на честь свого колишнього чи колишньої – і згодувати іншій тварині. Це “справді залікує ваше розбите серце” кажуть у зоопарку.
