Керівна партія Угорщини встановила в понеділок білборди, які спрямовані проти президентки Європейської комісії Урсули фон дер Ляєн. Про це повідомило агентство Reuters.

На білбордах, встановлених за ніч у зв’язку з кампанією перед виборами до Європейського парламенту в червні наступного року, фон дер Ляєн зображена разом з Алексом Соросом, сином ліберального фінансиста угорського походження Джорджа Сороса, який є постійним об'єктом ворожості з боку партії Орбана "Фідес". "Не танцюймо під їхні дудки", – написано на білборді.

Подібні білборди із зображенням попередника фон дер Ляєн Жана-Клода Юнкера разом із Соросом-старшим викликали жорстку критику з боку Брюсселя у 2019 році. "Фідес" зняв їх після того, як головна правоцентристська група Європарламенту ЄНП пригрозила виключити угорську партію. "Фідес" вийшов з ЄНП через два роки.

Орбан, уряд якого намагається розблокувати мільярди євро з фондів ЄС, заявив у суботу, що Угорщина "повинна сказати "ні" нинішній моделі Європи, побудованій в Брюсселі".

Очікується, що Угорщина буде в центрі уваги наступного саміту ЄС в середині грудня, оскільки ця країна ЄС найбільше симпатизує Росії і скептично ставиться до планів запропонувати Україні шлях до вступу в Євросоюз.
