Активістка ГО "Відсіч" Вікторія Юхимець в середині липня поскаржилась, що її відмовилась взяти на роботу штатним психологом транспортна компанія Columb Trade. Формальним приводом для відмови послужила принципова україномовність дівчини.
Компанія Columb Trade, що займається пригоном автомобілів із США, звільнила свого HR-менеджера Дарину Панасюк, яка відмовилася брати на роботу Вікторію Юхимець через те, що та розмовляє українською мовою. Відповідну заяву було опубліковано на офіційній сторінці фірми в Facebook.
Юхимець виклала у Facebook аудіозапис телефонної розмови зі HR менеджеркою, яка пояснила, що причина відмови - не професійні якості шукачки, а її україномовність.

"У нас спілкування в компанії відбувається російською. Вам буде некомфортно", - заявила ейчар. Пізніше Юхимець повідомила, що її пост заблокували і вона поскаржилася на компанію повторно.
Станом на 17 липня, за словами дівчини, співробітники компанії двічі дзвонили їй, щоб вибачитися.
Представники компанії визнали, що Панасюк під час співбесіди "дозволила собі зауваження та коментарі", які не тільки є "неприйнятними для них", але і порушують українське законодавство.
Також в Columb Trade відзначили, що вони "проводять роботу над помилками та розвиваються".
