Колишній член Партії регіонів, депутат Верховної Ради VI-VIII скликань, а нині голова Одеського районної ради Віталій Барвіненко вирішив привітати заочно засудженого президента-утікача Віктора Януковича з днем народження

Відповідний допис з бравурним фото експрезидента з'явився на фейсбуці Барвіненка в п'ятницю, 9 липня 2021 року

"71 сьогодні. Пам'ятаю як 60 святкували. А тепер ніхто й не згадає. Sic transit gloria mundi", - написав очільник Одеської райради.

"Щоправда, текст простояв недовго - хвилини три, а потім був вилучений", - зазначає з цього приводу одеська інтернетгазета Думская.net.

Барвіненко тричі був нардепом від різних партій - спочатку від БЮТ, потім від Партії регіонів, а до 2019 року від "Відродження".

Наразі Віталій Барвіненко представляє партію "Довіряй справам" одеського міського голови Геннадія Труханова.
