На Мальдивах в преддверии президентских выборов население встревожено обнаруженными на острове косовыми орехами с арабскими письменами, сообщает The Independent.

Местное население считает, что орехи заколдованы.

Орехи с фрагментами Корана обнаружили ученики одной из местных школ, которая на время выборов выполняет функции избирательного участка.

На место происшествия была вызвана полиция, которая, в свою очередь, обратилась за помощью к белому магу.

По словам специалиста в магии, кокос являлся подделкой под фандитха - вид черной магии, которая использует священные тексты для привлечения джиннов и демонов.

Отметим, что это не первый "магический" инцидент на Мальдивах. В мае минувшего месяца местные власти начали расследование по факту использования злых духов и проклятой курицы против местного правительства и полиции соответственно.
