Речниця президента України Володимира Зеленського Юлія Мендель, яка раніше зганьбилася повідомленням про коронавірус у Зеленського, розповіла цікаву історію про те, як у 2019 році дві її публікації у соціальній мережі Twitter допомогли стабілізувати інфляцію в країні.

Про свої два "історичні" твіти, зроблені у червні 2019 року, Мендель розповіла під час онлайн-зустрічі, організованої Американською торговою палатою в Україні.

Так, прес-секретарка Зеленського згадала, як на другий день після її призначення на посаду президент Зеленський поїхав із візитом до Брюсселя - тоді в Європейському союзі всі говорили про те, що Зеленський нібито проросійський президент, за яким стоїть Ігор Коломойський.

 

 

"Пам'ятаю, коли я була на перших переговорах з президентом, він розповів, що в історії з Приватбанком буде на боці народу, і Україна буде курсувати в ЄС. Мені вдалося дати два цих твіти дуже швидко. Їх підхопили майже всі іноземні ЗМІ. Пам'ятаю, що в той час у нас трохи росла інфляція, не колосально, але гривня ослабла і після двох твітів гривня знову стабілізувалася до колишнього рівня. Це був той момент, коли ти розумієш, що 280 знаків можуть впливати на інфляцію в країні", – розповіла Мендель.

В мережі відреагували на заяву речниці Зеленського уїдливими коментарями.
