Международный фестиваль документального кино о правах человека Docudays UA состоится онлайн в этом году из-за карантина, связанного с эпидемией коронавируса.

 

Как сообщает пресс-служба кинофестиваля, в онлайн-формате он пройдет с 24 апреля по 3 мая.

Все фестивальные показы и онлайн-трансляции будут бесплатными. При желании, каждый зритель может сделать взнос за просмотр на любую сумму.

"Решение сделать онлайн-фестиваль в конце апреля было для нас непростым, – комментирует Виктория Лещенко, программная директорка Docudays UA. – Конечно, ни одно виртуальное событие не заменит физическое. И чувства режиссеров, когда фильмы не попадают на экраны кинотеатров, мы хорошо понимаем. Этот фестиваль – наш акт солидарности с мировым культурным сообществом и способ поддержать наших зрителей и зрительниц во время кризиса".

У фестиваля будет три компонента: публичные онлайн-трансляции дискуссий, лекций и разговоров с режиссерами и критиками на сайте docudays.ua; виртуальный кинотеатр DOCU/SPACE, где будут доступны 50 фильмов из программы фестиваля; эксклюзивные онлайн-события для тех, у кого есть индустриальная аккредитация.

Напомним, 17-й Docudays UA посвящен теме взросления. 

Изначально он должен был состояться в конце марта, но из-за коронавируса его перенесли на конец апреля. Поскольку карантин в Украине продлили, как минимум, до 24 апреля, проведение фестиваля в его обычно формате – невозможно.

Отметим, что это не единственное крупное культурное событие в Украине, которое перенесли из-за карантина: "Книжный Арсенал" перенесли на конец августа, равно как и кинофестиваль "Молодость".
