У легкій атлетиці, схоже, назріває гучний скандал.

На Чемпіонаті Китаю відбулася естафета 4*400 метрів. У ній взяли участь двоє спортсменок, які надто схожі на чоловіків - Ляо Меньсуе та Тун Цзеньхуань.

Уболівальники запідозрили щось не те та, як наслідок, атакували новини про їхню перемогу на сторінці державної газети People's Daily в Facebook. Більш того, підозри щодо статевою приналежності посилилися після інтерв'ю Меньсуе, яке вона дала на фініші. Її голос дійсно схожий на чоловічий.

Зазначимо, що це не перша перемога Меньсуе та Цзеньхуань у подібній естафеті. Раніше вони впевнено тріумфували на літньому чемпіонаті країни.

Ось так виглядає Ляо Меньсуе. 

А ось й Тун Цзеньхуань.

Попри підозри вболівальників, місцева федерація легкої атлетики виступила з заявою, що обидві спортсменки - жінки. Утім, вони не повідомили про те, як саме була визначена статева приналежність.
