Виктор Шокин, являющийся бывшим генеральным прокурором Украины, записал видео, в котором невероятно удивил украинский народ заявлением о том, что действующий глава ГПУ Юрий Луценко становился на колени перед Петром Порошенко, чтобы последний назначил его генпрокурором. 

Как информирует PRпортал, Виктор Шокин рассказал более детально обо всем этом журналистам, отметив, что все это происходило в Японии. Согласно словам бывшего главы ГПУ, Юрий Луценко давал обещание делать все, что только угодно, лишь бы его назначили на высокую должность. Он сказал: «Луценко встал на колени в Японии перед Порошенко, чтобы стать Генеральным прокурором. Он сказал, поставьте меня, я все что угодно делать буду».

В это же время Шокин отметил, что Юрий Луценко также выдвинул одно условие перед своим назначением на пост руководителя ГПУ. Он, в частности, хотел лично назначить собственных заместителей на основные посты в Генеральной прокуратуре Украины. Петр Порошенко, по словам экс-прокурора, согласился на такое условие и принял его.
