Новообраний президент України Володимир Зеленський зустрівся з предстоятелем Української православної церкви Московського патріархату митрополитом Онуфрієм.

Зустріч відбулася 30 квітня на території митрополичої резиденції у Феофанії, повідомляє Інформаційно-просвітницький відділ УПЦ МП.

Зеленський та Онуфрій привітали один одного зі Світлим Христовим Воскресінням. Окрім того, предстоятель Московського патріархату привітав свого співрозмовника з обранням на посаду президента та побажав йому "Божого благословення на новому і відповідальному шляху служіння Україні та її народові".

Порошенко зателефонував Зеленському: привітав з перемогою і домовився про зустріч

Учасники зустрічі також обговорили ситуацію, яка склалася в релігійній сфері України.

Нагадаємо, того ж дня Зеленський провів зустріч із предстоятелем Православної церкви України митрополитом Епіфанієм та почесним патріархом Філаретом.
