Лариса Ницой, детская писательница и борец за государственный язык в Украине, предложила больше не использовать в кинотеатрах страны слово «попкорн» иностранного происхождения, а заменить его на «бахканці». Сделала она это на своей персональной странице в социальной сети Facebook, - сообщает PRпортал. 

В своем сообщении она обратилась к Министерству культуры Украины, призвав «наконец утвердить украинский язык в публичных культурных местах». «Можно начать с письма всем кинотеатрам Украины с просьбой заменить надписи иностранными словами на украинские, такие как «попкорн» на «бахканці». Украинцы всегда пользовались этим словом. Зачем нам обезьянничать чужое?», - написала она. 

«Наши бабушки жарили воздушную кукурузу. Кто в печи, кто в сковородке на плите. Кукуруза бахкала. Отсюда название», - пояснила свою позицию детская писательница. Следует отметить весьма занимательный факт. Дело в том, что такая инициатива писательницы пришлась по душе многим украинцам. «Для начала пусть отправят письмо всем кинотеатрам, чтобы персонал разговаривал на украинском с клиентами, а не на русском. У нас проблема именно с русским языком оккупанта, а не с другими языками», - написал кто-то в комментарии под ее постом.
