Журналисты российского телеканала Euronews составили перечень личностей, которых мир потерял в текущем году, - передает PRпортал. «Разные люди придерживаются разных идеалов, у них разный путь к успеху, разные интересы. Но всех их объединяют страсть к делу, которому они посвятили жизнь, а также год смерти. Мы вспомнили о тех, кого мир потерял в 2018 году», - отмечается в материале. Примечательно, что вместе с Стивеном Хокингом, Джоном Маккейном, Джорджем Бушем-старшим и Монсеррат Кабалье канал Euronews считает потерей для мира ликвидацию главаря боевиков «ДНР» Александра Захарченко.

Такой выбор редакции вызвал шквал критики в сети.

Напомним, что упомянутый телеканал не один раз попадал в скандалы. В том числе, в 2016 году свыше 70 процентов сотрудников выступили с совместным заявлением, пожаловавшись на цензуру. В январе текущего года Euronews показал сюжет о Крыме, не упомянув о том, что полуостров оккупировала Россия. Данный сюжет стал причиной международного скандала – телеканал раскритиковали украинские и европейские дипломаты. После этого телекомпания изменила сюжет и дополнила его информацией об аннексии.
