"Єдина Росія" вітає рішення Володимира Путіна про самовисування на виборах у 2018 році, хоча була б рада висунути його сама.

Про це заявив прем'єр-міністр і голова "ЄР" Дмитро Медведєв на з'їзді партії, який проходить 23 грудня, пише РІА "Новости". 

"Єдина Росія" була б рада висунути Володимира Путіна як свого кандидата на найвищу державну посаду. ... Але як відповідальна політична сила ми розуміємо, що у поточній ситуації Володимиру Володимировичу правильно спиратися на найширші верстви громадян поза партійним контекстом. І ми вітаємо його рішення про самовисування", - заявив Медведєв.

За його словами, партія "надасть Путіну усю необхідну підтримку.

"Адже "Єдина Росія "- партія президента, його головний політичний ресурс - і зараз і в майбутньому", - додав він.

Як відомо, 6 грудня президент РФ Володимир Путін оголосив про участь у виборах президента учетверте. 

Повідомлялося, що прем'єр-міністр Росії Дмитро Медведєв не буде конкурентом Путіну на президентських виборах.

Про намір брати участь в них оголосили співзасновник партії "Яблуко" Григорій Явлінський, журналістка Ксенія Собчак та ще дві телеведучі – Анфіса Чехова та Катя Гордон, порнозірка Олена Бєркова та головний комуніст Росії Геннадій Зюганов.

14 грудня Путін заявив, що опонента у нього немає, тому що опозиція вміє тільки "шуміти", а відповідаючи на питання претендента на крісло глави РФ Ксенії Собчак про конкуренцію, почав залякувати "українським сценарієм".

15 грудня  Рада Федерації РФ призначила вибори президента Росії на 18 березня 2018 року -  на річницю анексії АР Крим.
