Міністр з питань бізнесу та освіти в Женералітеті (уряді) Каталонії Санті Віла оголосив про свою відставку після вчорашнього звернення глави автономії Карлеса Пучдемона.

Про це він написав у Twitter, передає Європейська правда

"Я подаю у відставку. Мої спроби діалогу знову були невдалими. Я сподіваюсь, що був корисним для президента Карлеса Пучдемона та каталонців до останньої хвилини", - написав Віла.

Він виступив проти того, щоб Каталонія визнала незалежність від Іспанії і висловлювався за оголошення виборів до нового регіонального парламенту.

Віла раніше критикував кампанію, розпочату сепаратистськими групами, які закликали каталонців забирати гроші з банків, які в останні тижні залишили Каталонію через невизначеність, спричинену кризою навколо незалежності.

Нагадаємо, 26 жовтня Пучдемон виступив із зверненням, у якому виключив проведення в автономії дострокових виборів. При цьому у своєму виступі він не уточнив, чи буде автономія проголошувати незалежність.

Сенат Іспанії 27 жовтня розгляне план уряду щодо передачі Мадриду контролю над Каталонією і обмеження повноважень автономії.
