Уряд Іспанії домовився з соціалістами (PSOE), головною опозиційною партією, про проведення дострокових місцевих виборів у Каталонії.

Про це у п’ятницю в інтерв’ю національному телебаченню повідомила представниця соціалістів Кармен Кальво, передає Європейська правда із посиланням на  La Vanguardia.

Проведення виборів стане частиною надзвичайного пакету заходів з тимчасового запровадження прямого управління регіоном. Голосування планують призначити на січень.

Кальво також сказала, "було б чудово" уникнути проведення дочасних виборів у січні, якби глава уряду Каталонії Карлес Пучдемон призначив голосування на звичайній основі.

Нагадаємо, Іспанія 21 жовтня розпочне процедуру призупинення автономії Каталонії. Про такий крок уряд у Мадриді оголосив після того, як лідер Каталонії не дав чіткої відповіді, проголосив він раніше незалежність Каталонії, чи ні.  

1 жовтня в Каталонії пройшов заборонений Іспанією референдум про незалежність автономії. За інформацією каталонської влади, понад 90% виборців висловилися за незалежність від Іспанії.
