Как видно на обнародованных кадрах, саудовский монарх проехал всего несколько ступенек, после чего эскалатор заклинило, и ему пришлось спускаться самому

При этом в аэропорту его встречали почетный караул военнослужащих РФ, вице-премьер Дмитрий Рогозин, замглавы МИД Михаил Богданов и другие российские чиновники.

Отметим, что это первый визит Салмана бен Абдель Азиз Аль Сауда в Россиию. Во время него король намерен встретиться с главой Кремля Владимиром Путиным и премьер-министром Дмитрием Медведевым.
