Twitter заблокував 201 обліковий запис в зв'язку з розслідуванням імовірного втручання РФ у президентські вибори США 2016 року.

Про це йдеться в заяві компанії, пише Українська правда

"З приблизно 450 облікових записів, якими Facebook нещодавно поділився в рамках своєї перевірки, ми прийшли до висновку, що 22 з них пов'язані з акаунтами в Twitter. Всі ці ідентифіковані облікові записи були вже припинені або ми їх негайно заблокували за порушення наших правил, в основному за порушення заборон на спам", - відзначили в компанії.

"Крім того, разом з цими акаунтами ми виявили ще 179 пов'язаних або з'єднаних акаунтів, і вжили заходів щодо тих, хто порушив наші правила", - заявили в Twitter.

За інформацією компанії, жоден з цих облікових записів не був зареєстрований в Twitter як рекламний.

"Ми продовжуємо розслідування даного питання і будемо вживати заходів щодо тих, хто порушує наші умови обслуговування", - йдеться в заяві.

У Twitter відзначили, що компанія веде діалог з комітетами з розвідки обох палат конгресу США, які розслідують приписуване Росії втручання у вибори.
