Рішення Верховного суду РФ про визнання "Свідків Єгови" екстремістською організацією, ліквідацію і заборону її діяльності на території країни, набуло чинності.

Тепер "Свідки Єгови" можуть звернутися до Європейського суду з прав людини, але Росія не вважає себе зобов'язаною виконувати його рішення.

У Росії Конституція офіційно гарантує свободу релігії, але законодавство визначає чотири "традиційні релігії" народів країни – православне християнство, іслам, юдаїзм і буддизм, а інші релігійні течії нерідко зазнають дискримінації.

Нагадаємо, що раніше у РФ свідку макаронного монстра вперше вдалося сфотографуватися в друшляку на права. Це перший випадок, коли в Росії людині вдалося сфотографуватися на права з друшляком на голові.
