Президент США Дональд Трамп вважає, що теракт в Парижі під час якого був убитий поліцейський, вплине на результат президентських виборів у Франції.

Зокрема, таку думку Трамп висловив у себе в Twitter:

"Ще один теракт в Парижі. Народ Франції не буде більше цього терпіти. Це буде мати великий вплив на президентські вибори!", - написав президент США.

Нагадаємо, ввечері в четвер, 20 квітня, невідомий відкрив вогонь по поліцейським в центрі Парижа, в результаті чого один з правоохоронців загинув. Нападник був вбитий на місці.

Відповідальність за напад взяла на себе терористична організація Ісламська держава.

Перший тур президентських виборів у Франції відбудеться 23 квітня, другий - 7 травня. Лідером виборчих перегонів згідно з опитуванням є незалежний кандидат Еммануель Макрон, за ним йде Марін Ле Пен з ультраправого Національного фронту.
