У 2016 році 52% інтернет-трафіку згенерували боти, а реальні користувачі - 48%.
 

Про це свідчать дані дослідження компанії Imperva Incapsula, пише BBC. 

Компанія проаналізувала понад 16,7 мільярдів візитів на 100 тисяч випадково обраних доменів із власної клієнтської бази за серпень - листопад 2016 року.

На людей в 2016 році припало 48,2% трафіку, на ботів - 51,8%.

У компанії зазначили, що боти між собою відрізняються, їх розділили на «хороших», на яких припадає 22,9% і «поганих» з 28,9% інтернет-трафіку.

«Погані» боти розсилають спам і можуть вчинити DDos-атак на сайти, а «хороші» аналізують сайти, збирають і обробляють інформацію.

Найактивнішим з них серед усіх ботів, був робот із додатку Facebook. На його частку припадало 4,4% трафіку в мережі Incapsula.

У 2015 році людський трафік вперше за чотири роки перевищив рівень автоматизованого - 53% проти 47%.
