Бренди Apple, Google і Coca-Cola вже четвертий раз поспіль увійшли до списку 100 найдорожчих брендів світу.

При цьому першу сходинку посіла Apple, вартість бренду якої зросла на 5% до 179,1 мільярда доларів. Вартість бренду Google, який слідує одразу за Apple, за рік зросла на 11% і на даний момент становить 133,3 мільярда доларів. Coca-Cola замикає трійку лідерів, вартість її бренду знизилася на 7% і тепер становить 73,1 мільярда.

При цьому до 2013 року компанія Coca-Cola займала перше місце в рейтингу. До списку також увійшли Microsoft (четверте місце, 72,8 мільярда доларів), IBM (шосте, 52,5 мільярда доларів), Samsung (сьоме, 51,8 мільярда доларів) та Amazon (восьме, 50,3 мільярда доларів).

Максимальне зростання вартості бренду за рік продемонструвала соціальна мережа Facebook, бренд якої подорожчав на 48% до 32,6 мільярдів доларів, що дозволило компанії піднятися відразу на вісім рядків у рейтингу і зайняти 15 місце.

Нагадуємо, що деякі американські бренди напередодні 11 вересня вирішили використати тему теракту в США з комерційною метою. Такий підхід викликав обурення в соціальних мережах і серед покупців. Наприклад, магазин матраців з Техаського міста Сан-Антоніо зняв промо-ролик, в якому імітується падіння веж-близнюків. У кадрі дівчина розповідає про те, що клієнтів чекає знижка при покупці двох товарів.

Шквал критики через експлуатації теми 11 вересня в рекламі спровокувала і найбільша мережа торгових центрів в США Walmart. Один з користувачів Твіттера виклав фотографію з магазину, який за його словами знаходиться у Флориді. У ньому були збудовані дві вежі з ящиків з Сoca-Cola під банером з фразою «Ми ніколи не забудемо» на тлі веж-близнюків.

Представник Walmart розповів виданню Mashable, що ідея промо-акції належала компанії Сoca-Cola, але магазин її підтримав. Як повідомив прес-секретар компанії Чарльз Кроусон (Charles Crowson), вони з усією серйозністю ставляться до трагедії 11 вересня і не хотіли нікого образити. Стенд з промо-продукцією розібрали відразу, як на нього почали скаржитися.
