Естонські активісти та представники української діаспори під час свого щотижневого пікетування посольства Росії у центрі Таллінна вимагали звільнити нового політв'язня - українського журналіста Романа Сущенка.

Про це повідомляє "Укрінформ".

На пікеті лунали гасла "Свободу українським політв'язням!", "Свободу Сущенку!", "Свободу кримським татарам!", а також "Крим - це Україна", "Putin is evil" ("Путін - це зло"), "Рашизм не пройде", "Нам не потрібен "Русский мир"!".

Майоріли українські та естонські прапори, а також прапор кримських татар. Пікетування тривало впродовж години.

Щотижневе, по середах, пікетування російського посольства в Таллінні триває з 2014 року, коли російськими службами був незаконно затриманий в районі російсько-естонської кордону працівник естонських спецслужб Естон Кохвер.

Пізніше, коли почалися арешти і судилища над українськими політв'язнями, порядок денний пікетів розширився.

Після обміну Естона Кохвера пікети відбуваються вже виключно на підтримку України, її свободи, територіальної цілісності і українських політв'язнів.

Наступного тижня в Ризі очікується акція "Стоп-Путін". В її рамках також буде порушена тематика звільнення українських політв'язнів в Росії, окремо буде згадано останнього з них - Романа Сущенка.
