Міжнародна неурядова організація Freedom House вважає, що вибори 18 вересня, в тому числі на території включеного Росією Криму, в Державну Думу не  легітимізуюсь російську владу на українській території. Про це йдеться в заяві Freedom House у відповідь на проведення Росією виборів в Держдуму в Криму, передають Українські Новини.

"Вибори, що відбулися в Росії, а також в окупованому нею Криму, не легітимізують російську владу на українській території", - сказав віце-президент по програмам надання допомоги в надзвичайних ситуаціях і багатостороннім ініціативам Роберт Герман.

Він також додав, що голосування на виборах не було вільним і справедливим.

"Це "голосування" було яким завгодно, але тільки не вільним і справедливим. Жителі Криму не могли вирішувати ні хто виграє вибори, ні хто стане нібито їх представниками", - зазначив він.

Раніше в доповіді Freedom House "Свобода у світі - 2016" організація привласнила анексованому Росією Криму рейтинг "невільний". Рівень дотримання політичних прав на півострові Freedom House оцінив в 7 балів, а громадянські свободи - в 6, при тому, що 7 - це найгірша оцінка з можливих.

Як повідомляли Українські Новини, "Єдина Росія" займе більше половини місць у Держдумі Росії.

Президент Петро Порошенко в США закликав обмежити торгівлю з Росією через порушення нею прав кримських татар.
