Facebook и Twitter вместе с крупнейшими мировыми СМИ присоединились к организации First Draft News, созданной для борьбы с распространением недостоверной информации, сообщает Медуза

Помимо крупнейших социальных сетей, в коалицию вошли The New York Times, The Washington Post, Agence France-Presse, Propublica, Euronews, Youtube, CNN, International Business Times, «Аль-Джазира», Buzzfeed News и многие другие. First Draft News создана при участии Google. 

Основной задачей коалиции станет содействие в фильтрации недостоверной информации. Как именно будет устроена кооперация, не сообщается. 

Как говорится на сайте First Draft News, организация будет проводить тренинги и воркшопы для журналистов.
