Кандидат в президенты США от Демократической партии Хиллари Клинтон определилась с кандидатурой на пост вице-президента.

Ее напарником станет сенатор от штата Вирджиния и председатель Национального комитета Демократической партии Тим Кейн. В сообщении в Twitter говорится, что Кейн посвятил свою жизнь борьбе за чужие права.

"Тим Кейн - неисправимый оптимист, который верит, что нет нерешаемых проблем, если начать их решать", - отметила Клинтон.

Сенатор Кейн согласился пойти с Клинтон на выборы.

На прошлой неделе кандидат от Республиканской партии Дональд Трамп также раскрыл личность своего напарника на выборах:кандидатом в вице-президенты стал губернатор Индианы Майк Пенс.
