Соцсеть анонсировала появление масок из белорусского приложения MSQRD в сервисе трансляций Live

Пользователи смогут вести трансляции Facebook Live прямо из приложения MSQRD с использованием масок и фильтров для видео. Об этом заявил директор по продукту Facebook Фиджи Симо на конференции VidCon, пишет The Verge.

The Verge отмечает, что таким образом Facebook пытается догнать мессенджер Snapchat, в которым есть похожие функции, созданные с помощью купленного за $150 млн украинского стартапа Looksery.

Facebook купила белорусскую компанию-разработчика Masquerade Technologies, создавшую одно из самых популярных приложений для обмена лицами — Masquerade или MSQRD. Об этом было объявлено в марте 2016 года. Сумма сделки не разглашалась. Как тогда было заявлено, приложение останется в онлайн-магазинах и продолжит работать, в будущем планируется расширить его функциональность.

Также социальная сеть анонсировала  ряд других возможностей для своего сервиса: например, теперь пользователи смогут приглашать своих друзей в трансляции, планировать эфир заранее и открывать площадку для общения до начала старта видео. Обе функции планируется ввести до конца лета.
