Власти Аргентины приняли решение приостановить вещание российского телеканала Russia Today на территории страны.

"Управление по радио- и телевещанию Аргентины приняло решение приостановить выпуски телевизионных новостей канала RT в стране", – говорится в сообщении RT и уточняется, что документ вступит в силу через 60 дней.
 
Отмечается, что вещание останавливают в рамках бесплатной государственной телесети. В рамках кабельного телевидения RT продолжит трансляцию.
 
Председатель комитета по международным делам Государственной Думы России Алексей Пушков связал прекращение вещания телеканала RT в Аргентине с "проамериканской ориентацией" новых властей страны.
 
"Сразу, как главой Аргентины стал ставленник США, там решили вывести Russia Today из национального вещания. А не защитить ли наш рынок от их мяса?" – написал он в своем Twitter.
 
Телеканал Russia Today появился в Аргентине в 2014 году при президенте Кристине Киршнер. Она и президент РФ Владимир Путин во время телемоста дали старт круглосуточному вещанию телеканала RT на испанском языке.
 
В прошлом году власть в Аргентине сменилась. Кристина Киршнер, представитель левого политического крыла, ушла с поста президента, проработав два срока. Президентские выборы выиграл кандидат от правой оппозиции Маурисио Макри.
