Корпорация Apple удалила изображение однополой пары с детьми из нескольких зарубежных версий рекламы ко Дню матери. Журналист BuzzFeed обратила внимание на то, что фото пропало из французской, немецкой, итальянской, турецкой и японской версии видео.

Приуроченный к празднику ролик Apple состоял из фотографий мам с детьми и коротких видео, которые пользователи делают на iPhone и выкладывают в социальные сети.

В американской версии ролика среди прочих фотографий был снимок популярных в Instagram блогерш Ванессы и Мелиссы Рой — американской лесбийской пары, воспитывающей двоих детей. На фотографии, попавшей в видео, они запечатлены на кровати вместе со своими малышами. Снимок также не попал в мексиканскую, австралийскую и канадскую версии.

Производитель iPhone часто корректирует свои рекламные кампании, учитывая национальные и культурные особенности стран, где распространяется реклама. К примеру, в Японии в рекламе Apple Watch, в отличие от других стран, не показывали татуировки.

BuzzFeed обращает внимание на то, что это не первый случай, когда представителей ЛГБТ-сообществ исключают из национальной версии рекламы международных компаний. В январе 2016 года Toyota не стала показывать геев в версии, предназначенной для французского рынка. Еще раньше Ikea исключилаоднополую пару из предназначенного для России каталога.
