Президент США Барак Обама считает, что мировые лидеры ошеломлены победой Дональда Трампа на внутрипартийных выборах, а сам миллиардер, по его мнению, — невежда. Об этом в четверг, 26 мая, сообщает ресурс Politico.

«Я думаю, справедливым будет сказать, что они удивлены выдвижением республиканского номинанта, и они не знают, как серьезно относиться к некоторым его изречениям. Но они шокированы им — у них есть на это причины», — сказал американский президент, выступая на саммите «Большой семерки».

Глава государства отметил, что заявления Трампа показывают его невежество и бесцеремонное отношение к вопросам международной политики, или демонстрируют желание написать твит или кричащий заголовок, а не обеспечить безопасность и процветание Америки.

Миллиардер Трамп фактически гарантировал себе выдвижение официальным кандидатом от «слонов» после того, как его последний оппонент, губернатор от Огайо Джон Кейсик, официально заявил о прекращении своей кампании.

Выборы президента США пройдут 8 ноября. В июле демократы и республиканцы проведут национальные конвенты, на которых выберут партийных кандидатов. Действующий президент США Барак Обама не может выдвигаться на третий срок.
