Городской глава Донецка Александр Лукьянченко не будет добираться на работу на велосипеде, чтобы не выглядеть смешным.

Об этом он сказал, отвечая на вопрос журналистов в среду, 14 августа, - сообщают Новости Донбасса.

"Я не хочу смешить народ... На велосипеде на любом я езжу, могу на отдыхе ездить... А на работу ездить... Мои коллеги, которые раньше это делали в дальнем зарубежье ... перед выборами, наверное", - сказал мэр.

Он также добавил: "Если бы в городе Донецке было 1200 жителей или 5 тысяч, я бы тоже на велосипеде ездил".

Мэр также сообщил, что в горсовете нет сотрудников, которые бы добирались на работу на велосипеде.

Как известно, мэр Лондона Борис Джонсон ездит на работу на велосипеде и является активным продвиженцем этого вида транспорта в своей стране. К тому же, мэр Лонедона ежегодно возглавляет гей-парады, который проходят в городе.
