Министр связи и массовых коммуникаций России Николай Никифоров назвал недальновидным использование западных стандартов программного обеспечивания, в частности, шрифтов и типов файлов.

Об этом он заявил на встрече с фракцией"Единая Россия" в Госдуме, сообщает"Интерфакс".

По словам министра, требования, предъявляемые к ведомственным нормативным актам, вынуждают чиновников пользоваться иностранным ПО. Он отметил, что российские госслужащие набирают тексты шрифтовой гарнитурой Times New Roman и предоставляют документы в формате .doc, что затрудняет импортозамещение в сфере IT.

"За последнее десятилетие принято огромное количество документов, в которых прямо прописано, по сути, такое косвенное использование тех или иных иностранных продуктов. Все это нужно вычищать", - заявил Никифоров.

Шрифт Times New Roman, ставший основой для гарнитуры Microsoft Windows, создан в 1932 году художником Виктором Лэрдентом и типографом Стэнли Морисоном для газеты The Times.

Напомним, в ноябре 2015 года российское правительство запретило покупки иностранного софта для госорганов.
