Депутати парламенту Нідерландів проголосували за надання уряду більше часу, щоб знайти рішення щодо результатів референдуму, на якому була відхилена угода щодо асоціації Україна-ЄС.

Соціалістична партія Нідерландів висунула у парламенті пропозицію щодо скасування підтримки ратифікації Угоди про асоціацію між ЄС та Україною.

Соціалісти ініціювала голосування не за партійним принципом як зазвичай, а поіменно - тобто називалося прізвище кожного депутата, а той повинен був сказати "за" або "проти" .

Дві коаліційні партії і два незалежних депутати проголосували проти скасування, підтримавши уряд 75 голосами проти 71. Один депутат від правлячої Лейбористської партії перейшов на бік опозиції.

Депутат від соцпартії Гаррі ван Боммель, який є одним з головних противників асоціації зазначив, що "розчарований результатом голосування".

"Думка народу відійшла на другий план", - написав він у Twitter.

Нагадаємо, на консультативному референдумі у Нідерландах 6 квітня проти Угоди про асоціацію України з Євросоюзом проголосували 61% голландців, які прийшли на дільниці.

Також повідомлялося, що свою позицію щодо Угоди про асоціацію між Україною та ЄС уряд Нідерландів визначить не раніше кінця червня.

Президент Єврокомісії Жан-Клод Юнкер заявив, що уряд Нідерландів, а не ЄК має розробляти альтернативний план після референдуму щодо Угоди про асоціацію Україна-ЄС.
