Кандидат в президенты США Хиллари Клинтон готова рассекретить ряд материалов, касающихся неопознанных летающих объектов (НЛО). Тайну она обещает раскрыть, если выиграет президентские выборы, заявил глава ее предвыборного штаба Джон Подеста.
"Я говорил об этом с Хиллари. Думаю, мне удалось ее убедить в том, что нужно рассекретить как можно больше документов, поскольку люди должны знать правду", – сказал он.
Подеста является известным сторонником раскрытия засекреченной информации об НЛО. Он призывал к этому еще в 1990-х годах, когда работал главой администрации президента США при Билле Клинтоне. При Бараке Обаме он проработал год старшим советником и после ухода с этой должности отметил, что больше всего сожалеет о том, что не смог добиться публикации данных об НЛО.
