В компании Google прокомментировали перевод в Google Translate украинского словосочетания "Російська Федерація" на русский как "Мордор".

В частности, в пресс-службе корпорации журналистам сообщили, что автоматический переводчик работает без участия людей, используя только алгоритмы, передает Pronedra.ru.

Так, Google Translate создает автоматический перевод, он использует образцы из сотен миллионов документов, чтобы определить, какой вариант может быть наиболее правильным, отметил представитель компании.

В компании уточнили, что автоматический перевод является "очень сложной системой", поскольку значение слов зависит от контекста, в котором они используются.

"Поэтому бывают ошибки и неправильные переводы, которые мы стараемся исправить как можно быстрее, как только узнаем о них", - говорит представитель Google.

Ранее, пользователи Google Translate заметили, что переводчик переводит с украинского "Російська Федерація" на русский как "Мордор", а фамилию главы российского МИД Сергея Лаврова - "грустная лошадка".
