В соцсети появились фотографии, на которых сотрудники ботанического сада Южного федерального университета довольно креативно украсили ёлки вокруг своего главного здания: на вечнозелёные деревья вместо гирлянд надели колючую проволоку.

Как сообщил donnews.ru руководитель пресс-службы университета Андрей Свечников, антивандальные меры приняты после того, как в декабре 2015 года неизвестные срубили в ботсаду несколько ёлок.

— Руководство ботанического сада ЮФУ было вынуждено принять дополнительные меры для защиты елей. К сожалению, в прошлом году в канун новогодних праздников несколько деревьев было вырублено. Проволока не вредит дереву и призвана защитить его, — рассказал Андрей Свечников.

Колючая проволока будет защищать зелёных красавиц до завершения праздников.
