Мэр Киева Виталий Кличко будет участвовать в выборах на эту должность в октябре текущего года. Об этом он сообщил журналистам после своего отчета за год деятельности в четверг в Киеве, передает Фокус.

"Я не боюсь выборов. Я иду на выборы. Те вещи, фундамент которых мы сделали, только начали реализовывать за этот короткий промежуток времени, мы должны реализовывать до конца. Я буду участвовать в выборах мэра", - заявил он.

Партия "УДАР" также примет участие в местных выборах."Я буду идти на выборы со своей командой, в которой люди имеют такое же мировоззрение, миропонимание, те же ценности, и которые поддерживали меня. Какой формат этих выборов – мы еще не знаем. Это зависит от решения Верховной Рады", - сказал он.

Если закон будет предусматривать участие политических блоков, то"УДАР" обсудит возможность объединения с другими политическими силами, отметил киевский глава.
