Вчера, 24 июня, на заседании Кабинета Министров Украины было единогласно проголосовано за отнесение целостного имущественного комплекса государственной организации Украинское национальное информационное агентство "Укринформ"  и передачу целостного имущественного комплекса Государственной телерадиокомпании "Всемирная служба "Украинское телевидение и радиовещание" в сферу управления Министерства информационной политики.

После подписания Премьер-министром этих распоряжений и их официального опубликования МИП начнет работу над запуском телеканала Ukraine Tomorrow и рестартом информационного агентства "Укринформ" в виде единой медиаплатформы иновещания.

Параллельно в ближайшее время Кабинет Министров Украины на выполнение Программы действий Правительства внесет в Верховную Раду Украины проект Закона "О системе иновещания", согласованный с парламентским Комитетом свободы слова и информационной политики, и который уже сейчас проходит обсуждение во время круглых столов с представителями общества.

Министр Юрий Стець: "Мы начинаем работу с того, что объявляем публично о наборе команды для создания качественного иновещания Украины. Каждый, кто желает присоединиться к этой команде, может передавать свои данные на электронный адрес. Процесс набора будет максимально прозрачный".
