Міжнародна асоціація юристів розробила додаток для захисту прав людини.

Новий додаток для полегшення збору та ідентифікації інформації від свідків отримав назву "Свідки жахливих злочинів" ("eyeWitness to Atrocities"), повідомляє Корреспондент.

Суть нової розробки юристів полягає в достовірному зборі фактів і доказів, що дозволить "простим людям збирати важливу інформацію, яка потім буде надана в суді".

Йдеться не тільки про пересічні правопорушення, а й про серйозні злочини - тортури або геноцид. Додаток допоможе прискорити процедуру перевірки автентичності тих чи інших фото- і відеоматеріалів.

Програма реєструє час, дату і місце завантаження контенту, крім того фіксується найближча точка Wi-Fi і кількість пікселів на оригінальному фото. Всі ці дані в значній мірі здатні полегшити експертам тести на справжність доказів. Зроблені фото відразу ж потрапляють в базу даних, доступ до якої мають лише відповідні органи.
 

Відправляти матеріали користувачі можуть як авторизувавшись, так і анонімно. Крім того, розробники створили спеціальну "тривожну кнопку", що дозволяє власникові смартфона миттєво стерти програму зі свого пристрою в разі непередбачених ситуацій.

Розробники обіцяють, що пізніше додаток буде доступний для користувачів всіх мобільних платформ, першими ж випробувати його зможуть власники Android.
