У США експерту з комп’ютерної безпеки Крісу Робертсу (Chris Roberts) двічі за минулий тиждень тиждень відмовили в перельоті. Причиною стало те, що у своєму Твіттері він жартував, ніби може зламати комунікаційні системи літака.

На початку минулого тижня ФБР зняло Робертса з рейсу американської авіакомпанії United через твіт, в якому він завуальовано написав, що може зламати комунікаційні системи літака.

В суботу юрист Electronic Frontier Foundation заявив, що їхнього клієнта зняли зі ще одного рейсу, а точніше заборонили йому зайняти своє місце у літаку після проходження контролю.

За словами юриста EFF Ендрю Крокера, Робертсу сказали, що надішлють листа із поясненням причин заборони польоту.

Експерт з кібербезпеки збирався летіти до Сан-Франциско, аби потрапити на конференцію. Після відмови у посадці на літак успішно скористався послугами іншої авіакомпанії. 

Нагадаємо, нещодавно Рахункова палата США (Government Accountability Office) опублікувала звіт, в якому розповіла про кіберзагрози для літаків, зокрема через наявність безпровідного інтернету на борту.
