Есть такое сложное психоневрологическое расстройство. Называется «синдром чужой руки». Старшее поколение могло его видеть в пьяном кошмаре одного из героев «Бриллиантовой руки»: рука вроде бы своя, но в неподобающий момент отделяется от тела, зловеще кружит по комнате и в итоге больно щиплет владельца за нос.

Другое название синдрома— «болезнь доктора Стрейнджлава» — дано не по имени первооткрывателя, а в честь одного из героев из фильма Стэнли Кубрика «Доктор Стрейнджлав, или Как я перестал бояться и полюбил бомбу» (1964), рука которого иногда сама по себе то вскидывалась в нацистском приветствии, то начинала душить своего хозяина.

Совершенно таким же образом ведет себя Компартия Украины: синхронно с Партией регионов голосует по всем важнейшим пунктам и одновременно шельмует правящую партию.

Такое странное поведение для КПУ не ново. 2 сентября 2002 года Симоненко вместе с Тимошенко и Морозом появился в актовом зале Федерации профсоюзов Украины, где огласил текст соглашения, подписанного еще 21 июля. А уже с 16 сентября 2002 года региональные организации отправляли коммунистов на весьма антикоммунистические майданы в Киев, охраняемые УНА-УНСО.

В конце 2007 года часть фракции КПУ проголосовала за правительственный бюджет-2008. Таким образом коммунисты сохранили пост премьера для Юлии Тимошенко. Ведь в случае непринятия бюджета ее правительство автоматически отправлялось в отставку. За это более десятка верных ленинцев получили важные правительственные и государственные посты.

Окончательно сделка была закреплена 5 февраля 2008 г., во время голосования в Верховной Раде резолюции о недоверии правительству. Критическая часть депутатов — семеро зарегистрированных в зале коммунистов вместе с лидером — на момент голосования исчезла. Спустя две недели депутат от Компартии Николай Тимошенко был назначен главой Госкомлеса, а Василий Мармазов — заместителем министра МВД.

Примечательно, что никогда при этом ни Юлия Тимошенко, ни КПУ не поминали как классово-олигархического врага Виктора Медведчука. Какие бы театрализованные громы, молнии и проклятия ни обрушивались на голову его шефа Леонида Кучмы.

Поэтому сегодняшний альянс КПУ и «Украинского выбора» в бесперспективной попытке лоббировать Таможенный союз не так уж нелеп, как выглядит на первый взгляд. Похоже, одна и та же чужая рука направляет их действия. Это фактический старт президентской кампании Медведчука, в которой КПУ играет ту же роль тормозящей «красной страшилки», что и в 2004-м. В то же время приходится констатировать, что при наличии таких коммунистов в Украине невозможно ни создание, ни тем более развитие любого эффективного левого движения. Но, может, оно и к лучшему.
