Лідер російської Ліберально-демократичної партії Володимир Жириновський під час програми «Недільний вечір із Володимиром Соловйовим», яку транслює російське телебачення, визнав окупований Крим частиною України.

«…Закінчити цю тему, закрити. Крим щоб усі забули, Україну щоб усі забули, щоб на карті треба було показувати, де це – Київ, Донбас, Крим», – емоційно сказав він.

Ведучий програми Володимир Соловйов виправив Жириновського: «Крим наш». На це політик роздратовано крикнув, що він так сказав для прикладу і, мовляв, не треба його вчити.
