Президент Єврокомісії Жан-Клод Юнкер під час прес-конференції не відповів на дзвінок канцлера Німеччини Ангели Меркель, подумавши, що телефонує його дружина, передає Європейська правда.

27 липня Юнкер, віце-президент Словаччини Марош Шефчович та прем'єр Словаччини Роберт Фіцо проводили пресс-конференцію, коли у Юнкера задзвонив телефон.

"Це моя дружина" - сказав Юнкер. Він відхилив виклик. Згодом, поглянувши на екран, він повідомив: "Це була пані Меркель". Цей конфуз викликав сміх у залі.
